Dr. Cameron realized at an early age that she wanted to help others, particularly children. Her desire was to be either a teacher or a physician, and after experiencing what caring for sick children meant to her, she realized that being a pediatrician would become her focus. With determination to achieve, Dr. Cameron pursued her education, competing her undergraduate education to receive a Bachelor’s of Arts in Biological Sciences from Rutgers College, Rutgers University. Dr. Cameron then obtained her medical school training at UMDNJ-NJMS in Newark, New Jersey graduating with her Medical Doctorate degree.
Dr. Cameron the relocated from New Jersey to Orlando, Florida for residency and has remained in the Central Florida area since then. During her residency at Arnold Palmer Residency Program with Orlando Health, Dr. Cameron learned to care for ill patients and to monitor and advocate for the health and wellbeing of her patients.
She is currently practicing in Oviedo, Florida where she enjoys continuing to care for families, offering guidance for parents and patients, and educating families on their health. Dr. Cameron also serves as a community assistant professor to medical students, which touches and encourages the next generation of health care providers. She is awed by the joy and resilience of children and works to ensure that they see a bright future ahead.
